The She Grows Network, founded by She Grows for Development, is a dynamic, women-led network that brings together female agricultural engineers, environmental practitioners, and young innovators across Jordan in the Water, Energy, and Food Nexus (WEF).
More than a membership network, it serves as a space for leadership, collaboration, and meaningful impact. By connecting expertise with grassroots communities, She Grows Network fosters the integration of knowledge, practice, and advocacy, ensuring women lead the creation of sustainable futures.

2022Where did it all start?
It started when founders Heba and Tayma joined the Upscaling Programme by Sahara Forest Project and Hussein Technical University, where Eng. Ruba AlZubi asked: why not bring all alumni into one network?2022What happened next?

OBJECTIVES
- Transfer localized, real-world insights from our network to university students and young people through peer education, outreach, and hands-on learning.
- Strengthen the capacities of our members in the fields of climate, agriculture, and environmental sustainability through practical training and continuous learning.
- Establish a safe, empowering space for women to grow professionally, share experiences, and collaborate across disciplines and regions.
- Uphold the belief that opportunities are for all; we promote open knowledge sharing, inclusivity and collective growth as core values of our work.

ACTIVITIES
All activities are co-designed in the leadership of She Grows for Development with She Grows Network Members (who represent various communities & nationalities) in line with our partners based on specialisation.
The network activities are the following:
GROWU (Grow-Universities)
GROWU is an interactive vocational training design for universities in agricultural practices that prepares students for the labour market technically.
Sessions, workshops, capacity building, and field visits
interactive, designed activities in the WEF Nexus and personal development.
